Our Checkout Backend team is responsible for the complete order lifecycle, from customers first placing items into their baskets to handling the refund of a returned item weeks later. Between these two points the team also interacts with a multitude of internal and external players, spanning from an in-house CRM team to the external B2B order broker and multiple payment providers in a variety of countries. The applications the Checkout team maintains span from high traffic & fault tolerance api hubs to security-conscious and reliable backend processing engines. Then you are the perfect addition to our Checkout team, which is currently searching for a Product Manager (m/f).

  • University degree of business administration, business informatics, computer science or equivalent knowledge with at least 6 months work experience
  • Basic skills in REST API specification and/or MySQL database queries
  • Experience in managing stakeholders from both technical and business backgrounds
  • Practical programming experiences is beneficial
  • Ideally project or product management background with an emphasis on IT or E-Commerce
  • Previous experience in working with a team of at least two developers is beneficial
  • Ideally  understanding of impact analysis, identification of edge-cases and dependencies, clarification of priority, and defining potential approaches to resolution
  • Hands-on experience in defining features and investigating bugs
  • Analytical mindset, logical and structured approach of problem solving
  • Solution-oriented, self-motivated working and communication is one of your strengths
